Call for applications for the Greening Energy Market and Finance Summer School in Katowice

The call for applications concerning the first summer school on Green Finance to be held at the
University of Katowice, 7-11 June 2021, is online at the link

Deadline for applications is the 26th of March 2021.

Starting from the 16th of April, the Selection Committee will deliberate the list of admitted candidates and contact the applicants to finalize the subscription to the Summer School.

For five selected students, mobility and sustenance will be paid by the project's grant.

Please note that the Summer School may be held online, depending on the Corona situation.

About the Summer school

The Green Energy Market and Finance Summer School in Katowice is part of the KA-Erasmus+ GrEnFIn project, whose aim is to design, pilote and accreditate a European Joint Master Degree to educate
the Sustainable Energy Expert, i.e. the hero of the green economy. The figure is that of an innovative professional,
with a strong blend of economical, technical and financial skills, able to understand the technical questions related to the energy market, as well as its geopolitical (global and local) context.

During the summer school, students will have the possibility to follow courses on Sustainable Energy Market,
Pricing Weather Derivatives and Risk Management on Energy Markets.

Students will be divided into small international teams of 4-6 people. Each team will work on a case study delivered by the business partner with interdisciplinary questions in the fields of energy, green finance, and quantitative methods.
